Congressman Wayne Gilchrest
According to Inside Charm City, nine term Republican congressman Wayne Gilchrest, who was defeated in this year’s primary by sate representative Andy Harris, will throw his support behind the Democratic contender for his seat, Frank Kratovil, appearing with him at two campaign events today. Gilchrest has become increasingly critical of the Bush administration’s policies and of neocons in Congress, the ranks of which Harris seeks to join. Can an Obama endorsement be far behind for the maverick from Kennedyville?
