I’m not one bit surprised that Hillary Clinton is hanging on to her presidential campaign and her delegates. According to the Baltimore Sun, she is planning to “end her campaign and endorse Barack Obama” on Saturday. Clinton has no plans to concede and release her delegates, though. In August there will be floor demonstrations, drama and more food fights at the Democratic National Convention.
Hillary is open to the idea of being Vice President now. In other words, you had better give it to me or there will be trouble. Can you imagine a triumvarate of Barack, Hill and Bill squabbling over how to govern this country? Or trying to campaign together? It gives me nightmares.

It’s the first time that I’m following elections from a foreign country with more interest than my own country’s…But I have this impression that your way of electing a president is quite a marathon…it is a bit tiring!Of course that I understand why.But still…:-)

This has already been the longest campaign in history and it’s really just beginning. The Democratic party organizations in many of the states got into a contest to see who could have the first primary, pushing the start of the campaign way up into 2007.
I hope that this is not going to be a trend.
